At Cheer Advantage, our tumbling program is designed to help athletes safely progress from their very first tumbling skills through elite-level techniques. Athletes are placed based on current skill level—not age—to ensure safe progression, proper technique, and continued success.

Coach approval is required for placement and advancement into all classes.

Recreational Class Options Offered at Cheer Advantage

Perfect for athletes with little or no tumbling experience.

For athletes who have mastered the basics and are ready to learn walkovers and stronger tumbling fundamentals.

  • Strong cartwheel
  • Bridge kickover

Designed for athletes beginning back handspring training and Level 2 tumbling.

For athletes working toward consistent back handsprings and back handspring series.

For athletes beginning tuck progressions and advanced Level 3 tumbling.

Designed for athletes refining Level 3 skills while preparing for layouts and advanced tumbling.

For experienced athletes training advanced Level 4–6 tumbling skills.

  • Consistent standing tuck
  • Round-off back handspring tuck
  • Independent tumbling

Athletes will work on the technique, strength, & flexibility needed for proper jumps!

Athletes will work on flexibility, body control, body positions, and performance to improve flying skills and capabilities!
